Defending the Ferme Saint Siméon brand
Background & brief
A brand
unique
An emblematic Relais et Châteaux hotel and stronghold of the Impressionist movement, the Ferme Saint Siméon, a 5-star hotel in Honfleur, needs no introduction.
Following the project to overhaul the entire Saint Siméon Collection, we set up ambitious campaigns to defend this prestigious brand.
On the menu: targeted Google Ads and Meta Search campaigns.
The aim: to reduce the volume of commission charged by OTAs – on average 17% on all bookings.

Once the site was online, we deployed our Google Ads and Meta Search campaigns to promote the establishment’s brand.
We tested different ‘Search’ campaign formats on Google Ads, with several variations of keywords around the brand, tests on time slots and target geographical areas, etc.
The result: since the campaigns went online in the second half of 2023, we’ve generated over €300,000 in sales for just under €7,000 spent via Google Ads. This represents a distribution cost of 2.3%.
For Meta Search, the figures don’t lie either: €160,000 in sales for €4,700 in advertising spend. Once again, a fully controlled distribution cost of 2.9%.
All in all, that’s more than €450,000 in sales that escape OTA commissions. The net gain is estimated at over €65,000 for Ferme Saint Siméon over one year.
